A few things you might be wondering.
What is Vocabh?
Vocabh is an iOS language-learning app built around flashcards. Turn a card, listen to the word, and decide whether you remembered it. Short lessons, gentle repetition, and your own personal cards keep the experience focused.
Which languages can I learn?
Spanish, French, German, Italian, European Portuguese, and Japanese, with English translations. Each language has 144 bundled flashcards across 12 collections and 24 short lessons. Japanese cards include romanized reading guides.
How do difficult words come back?
In the app, a word you mark Again returns later in the session, up to twice. A spaced review schedule also brings it back in future practice. The web preview demonstrates the in-session repeat, not the full saved learning schedule.
Can I turn off the playful parts?
Absolutely. Focus mode puts the words first and tucks away Pip, celebrations, and haptic effects. Your learning progress and earned decorations stay saved.
Does the iOS app work offline?
The bundled cards and your saved progress work offline. Pronunciation uses Apple’s system voices; you may need to download a language voice on your device first.
Do I need an account?
No. The current app stores your progress on your device. You can export a backup and restore it later. There is no cloud account or automatic cross-device sync.
When can I download it?
We’re getting Vocabh ready for its App Store debut. Until then, try the interactive web preview. The official download link will appear here when the app is available.
